The Church's mission is to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 2:42). Therefore, Rancho del Rey's goal is to train and encourage disciples toward maturity.
The Bible encourages disciples to apply Jesus' example to every area of their lives (Galatians 2:20, Philippians 1:21). At Rancho del Rey, we sum up these commands with the simple phrase "live Jesus."
Disciples that "live Jesus" will abound in faith, hope, love and truth. Therefore it is the goal of Rancho del Rey to emphasize:
- Faith in Jesus alone (Hebrews 11:6)
- Hope in Jesus amidst a dying world (Hebrews 6:19-20)
- Jesus' unconditional love, which the world cannot offer (John 13:35)
- Jesus' truths, which are changeless and eternal (John 14:6)
